Air Britain Fly-in at North Weald Airfield 21/06/15
The 21st of June 2015 saw an Air Britain Fly-in at North Weald Airfield in Essex. This
isn't my usual fayre, as it appeared most of the participants would come under the heading
of General Aviation. Fortunately, there were one or two military visitors & for me, the highlight
was the departure of the Hawker Hunter T.7, WV372/R, which left in the early afternoon
to go and display at Weston-Super-Mare.
The weather for the event wasn't too bad at all, just a tad breezy.
I did gamble on there being something to interest me at the event & my luck
was definitely in with the Hunter flying!
Other visitors included DH.82A Tiger Moth, Queen Bee, LF858 (G-BLUZ), Cessna 140, NC1872V,
Aeronca L3B Grasshopper, 3-1923, Auster AOP6, TW641 (G-ATDN) & Beech 18, G-BKGM.
