Gnat XR538 also has a civilian registration G-RORI. The aircraft is painted in No 4 FTS colours,
of mostly red with white stripes.
This lovely looking aircraft served at RAF Valley with No 4 Flying Training School (FTS) until 11th March 1979.
It is now owned and operated by The Heritage Aircraft Trust which is dedicated to the
restoration and conservation of classic historic aircraft. Its home base is North Weald Airfield in Essex.
