Shipping and Airlines at Biggin Hill 03/04/17

 

 

After receiving an invite to visit Shipping and Airlines at Biggin Hill Airport,

on the 3rd of April 2017 I made the journey to the airport on what was a sunny & fairly warm day.

 

I was there to photograph the aircraft in the hangar, which have all been made

airworthy by Shipping and Airlines, who are an aircraft engineering company.

 

The company were working on their De Havilland DH.90A Dragonfly, G-AEDU, Rearwin Sportster, G-AEOF,

Civilian Coupe, G-ABNT, De Havilland Hornet Moth, G-AHBL & Piper L4 Cub, 43-1145 (c/n 10549) 26-G, (G-BBLH),

also in the hangar was a gorgeous looking Cessna 195A, G-BSPK.

 

Also of interest parked outside the hangar was De Havilland DHC-1 Chipmunk, WP901/B, (G-BWNT).

 

I was also very fortunate to get to look around Boeing 737-8DR (BBJ2) VP-COH, which was formerly OE-ILX,

but is now operating for PrivatAir Saudi, the aircraft was parked on the nearby pan.
