My uncle, Graham Fraser, missing since the late
1980, was the official photographer at Mildenhall.
As such, he would give me loads of close-up photos
of A-10s and SR-71s during the late 1970s and
throughout the 1980s until we lost contact with him.
They were always black and white and he use to
develop them in my grandparents bathroom when he
came to his old home in Hatfield. Unfortunately,
the photos disappeared during a move from Kent to
Cornwall but I remember showing them off to my mates
at school who were impressed by the extreme close-
ups of the A-10s gun that he got loads of great pics
of for me.
I was a Senior Software Engineer for GEC-Avionics
from 1987 and worked on the HUDs for F-5, F-16, C-17
and Eurofighter as well as TRN for Tornado GR4 and
the fly-by-wire for Boeing 777. Hence, I got to
"play" with stuff my unlce could only dream of being
allowed to photograph! We had a poster on the wall
at work circa 1990 with "LIBYA" at the top and
underneath was "Lakenheath Is Bombing Your Arse".
Good times ;)

Hi the aircraft buffs
My Father, Jack R. Cameron, worked for Lockheed Aircraft CO. from ~1941-1980's as a "SKUNK WORKS" mechanic. If anyone out there worked with the "Good Guys" crew. I have some memorabeilia I cannot identify. If antone knew him or worked with him at Burbank, Van Nuys, Edwards AFB,"The Ranch please contact me,send pictures, or would like to eMail me I sure would appreciate it. Up we go...
Thanks, Don Cameron

Hello Don, many thanks for signing the guestbook it's much appreciated.
I hope you get some useful feedback. It looks like your father had a very interesting job at a very interesting time.
I love the Blackbird, it's my favourite aircraft of all time.
Once again many thanks and best regards, Roger
